This is the class that truly brings all levels of practice together and offers something for everyone. Always beginning with grounding preparation (pranayama and gentle movement), gradually moving into stronger movement (with plenty of options for making postures more accessible or more challenging) and eventually slowing down to practice the deeper, more therapeutic asanas and, eventually, stillness. Classes will sometimes close with longer pranayama practices, short meditations or Yoga Nidra. You can expect to work on the parts of the practice that you find most challenging, be it strength in movement or simply being still, and also to settle into a level of practice that meets you where you are at that day.
Please note that this practice includes some gentle weight-bearing postures (planks, downdogs), all of which can be modified to keep you off of your hands as much as possible if you are experiencing wrist or shoulder injuries (please discuss with me before class).
You must sign-in to book a spot in this class.
