We just have to say this: If you are into your yoga practice, and if you love life in the great outdoors, and maybe (but not necessarily) if you are a connoisseur of the best regional and seasonal produce under the sun, then keep reading! Because these retreats tick all of those boxes (and many more!).

Figs, grapes and plums along winding country lanes and hedgerows, ripening in the hot summer sun… Expansive views from the edges of the river gorge, up with the swifts and peregrine and where the juniper grows… The fresh, clean water of l’Aveyron with views of giant rockface and dense hillside forests as you kayak or swim… The elusive kingfisher zipping along the river’s edge, often heard but only seen when the sun reflects its iridescent plumage…

The shade of the big, broad linden blossom tree, perfect for hammock hangs and siestas in the heat of the day… The most delicious and colourful produce at the local Sunday market, being sold alongside breads, pastries, cheeses, wines and crafts from the region… Dramatic sunrises and sunsets and the accompanying call of the woodlark and nightingale… The light of the Milky Way, the blanket of stars and catching a view of Jupiter’s moons and Saturn’s rings through the scope…

Join us for seven nights in June/July 2025 for one of TWO retreats we are hosting at Peyrounet, our peaceful little yoga home tucked away in its own quiet woodland above the breathing-taking Gorges of the Aveyron River, in Occitanie, the South of France. Our Yoga à la Campagne and 26+2 à la Campagne Retreats are for Yogis who enjoy a perfectly-balanced mix of yoga, excursions, nature time and chillaxing in a hammock with a little bit of adventure and culture thrown in for good measure. Now 7 nights instead of 6, these two retreats are exactly the same format apart from the yoga: the Yoga ALC Retreat offers a mix of all practices that we teach; and the 26+2 ALC Retreat offers 26+2 exclusively.

This quiet corner of Occitanie comes into its own during the summer months. It is a feast for the senses and the locals know all of the best ways to slow down and appreciate it. This is the simple life – a way of living more harmoniously with nature – and Peyrounet offers a private setting for visiting Yogis to do exactly that. Our à la Campagne retreats offer you plenty of time to immerse yourself in nature, your practice and your yoga community, and to have some quality time with your teachers, too!

Our retreats are limited to 6-8 Yogis depending upon sharing.

Refund Policy: All payments for our retreats are non-refundable unless we are forced to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, or unless you have a medical emergency/reason for not being able to attend. In the event of a fully-booked retreat with a waitlist, we will help you pass (sell) your space on to another Yogi. You may be able to transfer your payment to a future retreat/event – please enquire.
